Maintenance/Facility Manager

We are currently searching for a qualified and reliable Facilities / Maintenance manager to lead our maintenance department. As the facilities/maintenance manager, you will be responsible for managing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our company’s facilities. Your duties will include maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, and overseeing all building-related activities and other duties as assigned. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensuring that facilities are safe and well-functioning.

Responsibilities:
  • Allocate workload and supervise staff. 
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service provider.
  • Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
  • Monitor electrical and hydraulic systems of facilities to ensure the functionality.
  • Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.
  • Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
  • Ensure that designated buildings, plants and facilities are fit for purpose and provide proactive support/solutions when required.
  • Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years experience in maintenance/facility management role.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
  • Experience in planning maintenance operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Ensuring that basic facilities are well-maintained and conducting proactive maintenance.
  • Dealing with emergencies as they arise.
  • Managing budgets.
  • Ensuring that facilities meet compliance standards and government regulations.
  • Planning for the future by forecasting the facility’s upcoming needs and requirements.
  • Overseeing any renovations, refurbishments, and building projects
  • Drafting maintenance reports.
